Welcome to The Bark Bungalow!

At The Bark Bungalow, based in Sully, Vale of Glamorgan, we pride ourselves on offering a safe and loving home-from-home experience for your furry companion. Jimmy, Sophie, and our own dog Ralphy form a dedicated, dog-loving team committed to ensuring your pet feels right at home. Our dog Ralphy is a happy 5 year old labradoodle who loves meeting new friends and socialising with all dogs, all ages.

We truly believe that when your dog stays with us, they're not just a guest — they're family. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a dog who doesn't want to leave… and that always happens!

We've welcomed everything from tiny Mini Toy Poodles to gentle Newfoundlands, sleepy seniors to playful pups who can't get enough cuddles — and we're ready to care for your dog just the same.

Licensed, Insured & Equipped

We’re licensed by the Vale Of Glamorgan. Our premium comprehensive insurance covers every aspect of care including transport.

Our detached dormer bungalow has been thoughtfully designed with dogs in mind. With multiple rooms downstairs and three bedrooms upstairs, we can easily separate dogs if needed — while still ensuring they have garden access and plenty of comfort.

We've created dedicated dog-friendly spaces throughout the home. We are a crate free household unless your dogs are crated at home.

All food and medication are stored and labelled in locked sealed containers. We clean all equipment after every use or daily.

Our ventilated, safe and secure caged van is deep cleaned and disinfected every week. Including all bedding.

All rooms are monitored with digital thermostats and we get an alert on our phone to say if a room is too hot or too cold.

We only use DEFRA-approved cleaning products and operate strictly in accordance with our local authority licence requirements.

Your dog can sleep wherever they feel most at ease — whether that's the living room sofa, their own bed in the kitchen, or our cozy office. For dogs who prefer company overnight, we offer supervised sleeping arrangements: Jimmy will stay in our spare bedroom with your dog, and Sophie will be in the master bedroom with Ralphy. Dogs are always separated at night in secure rooms and monitored with cameras to ensure they're comfortable and settled.

A typical day at The Bark Bunaglow would include lots of fun. We would start by having early morning time, followed by breakfast. Then we would head out in the van for a group walk to sully beach and Glebe fields for swimming and off-lead fun. We would then head home, clean off and weather your digs like a cuddles and a nap or more play time in the garden were ready and prepared for both with lots of toys and regular water refills and garden access throughout the day. In the evening after being fed and walked, your dog can rest up cuddled up to us infront of our fire and relax.
